Husky intends to use Sales Direct for the whole of the USA in due course.

The Company

Husky is a British refrigeration company with a history of over 50 years in the industry. The company was established in 1957 and operated principally as a service company. Their years of experience led to the launching of their own ‘Husky’ brand of commercial refrigeration. All products supplied by Husky have been designed, built and tested using the worldwide expertise of the Husky team.

Husky has partnered with virtually every drinks brand in the UK and has offices in Europe, Asia, Australia and the USA.

Commercial Products Launch

Further to the launch of Husky's domestic refrigeration products Sales Direct has been commissioned to assist Husky Refrigerators Inc in the establishing of an effective distribution network across the USA for their commercial refrigeration range. Husky intends to use Sales Direct for the whole of the USA in due course.

 

Phase 1

The first project began in January 2008 with the focus of the East Coast states. As a result of this first project two distributors were appointed. One of these distributors began with an initial order of $100,000. This distributor allocated a brand new purpose built warehouse for the stocking of Husky's commercial range. This company has subsequently formed a JV with Husky and is now an Eastern US distribution hub.

 

Phase 2

A similar distributor search in the Southern states has also been completed by Sales Direct covering the states from Florida moving west and including Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. This second search identified a number of top performing distributors in each of the states including a nationwide foodservice company with sales of $80 million per annum.
